Privacy Policy

PreparandoFinal (preparandofinal.com) is a study platform for university students featuring a Pomodoro timer, weekly schedule planner, and interactive prerequisite degree maps. If you have any questions about your data, write to [email protected].

The study plans, courses, their statuses (passed, in progress, regular, available, locked), prerequisites and weekly schedules you create are stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). They're not sent to any server and aren't shared with third parties.

When you import a plan as a PDF or DOCX, the file is processed in the server's memory to extract its text, and the text is sent to the AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate the plan draft. The file isn't stored, isn't reused and the text is discarded when processing finishes. The API key is never exposed to the browser.

PreparandoFinal does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. We do not display advertisements on the platform.

We only use strictly necessary technical cookies for login and account security, along with local storage for theme and language preferences. You can view more details about technologies at policies.google.com and at support.google.com for Google Sign-In.

Your study space is completely free of commercial advertisements and advertising interruptions.

Shared sessions work without an account: you create a room and share a link with a 6-digit access code. To protect them, we store a random room identifier and a summary (hash) of the access code, never the code in plain text.

The chat and the member list are ephemeral: they circulate live among members and aren't stored on our servers. Notes in private rooms are stored temporarily so that people who join later can see them, and they're automatically deleted after 48 hours of inactivity. Public rooms don't store notes or chat.

To limit abuse (guessing codes, creating too many rooms), we record an anonymous hash of your IP address along with a daily counter of attempts. This hash can't identify you and is used only for that purpose. Session content is never combined with accounts or used for advertising.

Using the service is also governed by the terms of use, which include the rules for chat and public rooms.

If you create an account, we store your email and the authentication provider (Supabase Auth) manages your password and sign-ins. Your study plans sync to the cloud so you can use them across devices.

You can delete your account and all its data at any time from the account menu (your initial, top right) → Settings → "Delete my account". This permanently removes your user and your synced plans. Plans stored only in your browser are deleted along with the site's browsing data.

PreparandoFinal uses Google Analytics to understand overall site usage and measure performance. This service may process data such as visited pages, visit source and technical metrics of load, stability and responsiveness.

We don't send Google the content of your plans, courses, notes, credentials, tokens or passwords. For more information, check the Google privacy policy.

You can request information, rectification or deletion of any personal data associated with your use of the site by writing to the contact email. You can also delete your account directly from the app, as described above, or clear the site's browsing data to wipe what's left on your device.
