About PreparandoFinal

Organize your entire degree, not just your day-to-day. PreparandoFinal is a free tool to study better. It brings together in one place three things you use every day during your studies:

• A Pomodoro timer that works in the browser, with focus blocks, breaks, ambient music, notes, and full-screen focus mode.
• Shared study sessions to study in groups with the same synchronized timer, live chat, shared notes, and the same music for everyone, without needing to register.
• A visual study plan: you upload your degree plan (PDF or Word) and see it as an interactive map of subjects with prerequisites, so you know what you can take and how much is left to graduate.

The project was born from the experience of studying a long degree: between subjects, prerequisites, and finals, you need a simple way to organize your study and maintain focus. PreparandoFinal tries to solve that, free and frictionless.

The idea came up at UNSL (National University of San Luis). As a teaching assistant, I saw how freshmen and early-year students got lost with prerequisites, didn't know which subjects were more strategic (those that if you fail them delay you an entire year), and didn't know about university opportunities.

It happened to me too: I didn't know that teaching assistantships added teaching seniority, that internships could be done from the early years, or that GPA, although it doesn't matter much professionally, opens huge doors for scholarships, exchanges, and doctorates. PreparandoFinal seeks to make that information and organization available to everyone.

It is designed specifically for Argentine university students (from national, public, and private universities). No matter what degree you study, if you have a study plan and finals to prepare for, this tool is for you.

I am Juan Ignacio González Burnet, an advanced student of the Bachelor's in Computer Science at the National University of San Luis (UNSL) and a teaching assistant for almost two years. I develop PreparandoFinal to give back some of everything the public university gave me.

PreparandoFinal complies with the Google AdSense Program policies, publishes its Privacy Policy, its Terms of Use, and this transparency page. We do not sell personal data, we do not use the content of your plans for advertising, and the session chat is ephemeral.
